Cross-posting is when you ask influencers to share the same content within the same platform and different formats, or across different social media platforms and formats, without changing the content or message. This helps maximise the reach and engagement of your campaign.
When creating a cross-posting campaign, you must first create the primary content and then add the cross-posting content.
What is primary content
The primary content refers to the main platform and format in which the influencer initially creates their content.
What is cross-posting content
Cross-posting content refers to additional platform(s) and format(s) where influencers reposts the primary content.
How does it work?
- After selecting the cross-posting content type, you must first create the primary content. To set this up, start by adding:
a. Platform (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch)
b. Influencer’s follower range
c. Content format (e.g., Video, Image, Live, Reels, etc.)
d. Enable content review, if required
e. Add instructions and hashtag(s), collaborator(s), and account tag(s)/mention(s) for influencers to use
f. Upload all essential campaign assets for influencers, such as logos, imagery, PDFs, etc. - After creating the primary content, add the cross-posting content by selecting the platforms and formats of your choice. You can add additional instructions, hashtag(s), collaborator(s), and account tag(s)/mention(s) for cross-posting content if required.
Note: Content review is available only for eligible platforms and formats. Since cross-posted content is the same as the primary content, it is not eligible for content review.
Example:
If you have selected cross-posting content with Instagram Story as the primary format for your campaign, influencers will:
- Create and publish the Instagram Story on their social media channel according to the specifications you provided.
- Cross-post this content to the additional platform(s) and format(s) you selected (i.e., Instagram Reel, Facebook Reel, etc.).
The primary and cross-posting platforms and formats listed above are examples only.
